A multifaceted hospitality space, The Duo transforms from a bright, welcoming café by day into a vibrant, cocktail-driven bar by night, embodying its name in both form and function.
✨ Spatial Innovation
Set within a 1,070 ft² venue with soaring 30‑ft ceilings, the design team pivoted from plans for a mezzanine to an overhead focal point—a custom, glass-blown dragon sculpture. Suspended mid-air, this twisting form doubles as a dynamic light installation, shifting in color and intensity with the time of day
🔄 Day-Night Transformation
A dual-bar layout enables swift transitions: a quick-service coffee counter in front for morning traffic, and a mirrored cocktail bar in the back for evening energy.
🎨 Material & Ambience Palette
The interior fuses stainless steel, brown leather, gray boucle fabric, light oak, and matte black details, offering a modern yet inviting aesthetic. Mirrored surfaces enhance spatial depth and reflect lighting dynamics

The Duo masterfully navigates spatial constraints by turning vertical potential into a sculptural and experiential asset.
